Extras

Brooklyn is quite the blonde hair, blue eyed ham.  She loves dancing and loves to be the center of attention.  We find it quite amusing since neither of us are like that.

Checking out the deer

Swinging with her Cousins!! This face sums up Brooklyn!!

Brooklyn started finally walking at 14 months.  I really wasn't sure she was ever going too.  But I shouldn't have worried.  Now she is running.  But here is a video from some of her first tries.  Just ignore the beer bottle.  She is obsessed with beer bottles.  I blame her father. : ) haha

Not the best picture, but the only one I have right now.  She wore this to Thanksgiving to announce, "This little turkey is going to be a big sister."

And last but not least one of myself at 16 weeks.  So far my pregnancy has been very smooth and similar to being pregnant with Brooklyn.  I have had a few days of feeling sick and have been really struggling with my thyroid/weight gain.  But mostly I complain of being tired.  I think that has something to do with Brooklyn.  We are thinking about letting this baby be a surprise!!  We will see.
I am going to try to be better about updating.  I introduced the "potty" to Brooklyn.....high hopes I know....but that should have some interesting stories to go along with it.  Much love.

Christmas

Brooklyn's 2nd Christmas.  We never went to see Santa last year and since our kid doesn't really fear anyone we thought Santa would be a big hit.  Boy were we wrong.  And this was the local Sam's Club Santa, not to be mean but I would have probably been scared too.  So Josh stepped up to the plate and sat with her.  What an awesome Daddy!!  I also attempted our own Christmas dress photo shoot, it's hard to get her to sit still.

Josh's graduation day!!  YAY!!

Catch Up

Well I am playing major catch up with the blog.  We recently moved from Evergreen, CO to Cheyenne, WY.  Josh graduated a 17 week fire academy in December and is now working regular 24 hour shifts as a fireman again.  It is nice to be back together more as a family and have more time together.  We also just recently went under contract on a new house and we are expecting baby Hebrew number 2 in June.  And chasing around a 16 month old doesn't leave as much time for blogging as I had pictured.

But needless to say I am catching up with some photos.  My grandfather and Brooklyn's great grandfather on my side passed away November 11, 2013 shortly after we moved up to Wyoming.  It was tough and we miss him, but I am so grateful that he got to meet Brooklyn.  We are also excited as my grandma has relocated to Colorado, close to my parents.  It will be great to be able to see her more and spend some quality time with her.

We also baptized Brooklyn into the Catholic Church.  Her God family flew out from Oregon and we truly had a blessed time.  There were no fits to be had by Brooklyn and she was also baptized with a little boy named Boston.  We thought that was pretty funny.  We enjoyed celebrating with lots of family!!

Other fun things we have enjoyed doing with Brooklyn including camping, we also all ran the Evergreen Town Race 5k.  Brooklyn's first race, although I pushed her in the stroller the whole way.  We had a good time.

12 months

Well I am playing catch up.  Brooklyn had an early 1 year party due to Josh starting a new job with Cheyenne, WY Fire Department.  We had a nice time with family and friends.  Brooklyn wasn't quite sure what was going on, but she knew she really liked cake and frosting.  Her cousins helped her open presents, even though the best present was the tissue paper.  I flexed my Pinterest skills and made Brooklyn her very own owl cake.  Honestly a fine time had by all and I even got Brooklyn to cooperate with a balloon photo shoot afterwards outside.  It was truly a glorious day celebrating our girl.

Doesn't fit at all anymore :)
