3 months

I honestly cannot believe that I had my baby 3 months ago.  Everyday I fall more and more in love.  She is smiling like crazy, talking and even laughing.  She is just so interactive, starting to love looking and playing with toys.  And her head control is crazy, I find we really don't even hold it anymore.  For Halloween she was a sweet pea, we didn't go out at all but she had fun with a photo shoot!! 

This past week was my first week back to work.  It was difficult, but she is in good hands with my parents and Josh.  She looks like a mini Josh for sure, no question that she is his daughter.  I cherish my days off to spend with her. 

On Thanksgiving we went up to the firehouse with my family to celebrate the day with Josh and my Brother in law.  What a great time had by all the kiddos checking out the fire engines.  And we were so lucky to get fed by the Ritz Carlton in Bachelor Gulch, what an amazing meal.

I love my kelty jog stroller.  Mom has to get back into shape, only a few pounds away so I pretty much get a stroller ride everyday!!

Time Flies!

2 months

Well our little one is already 2 months old! She gets cuter everyday if that is possible. She is smiling like crazy and babbling up a storm. She is becoming such a good time! Today she had her check up and shots. She is 14lbs, 97th percentile. Almost 2 feet long and just growing like crazy. We definitely got an eater and the rolls are forming!

Baby Brooklyn

We had some photos taken professionally of our baby girl. Some are ones my friend from work took, sh is trying to build a portfolio and offered to take pictures of Brooklyn her whole first year. Our baby girl is thriving at 2 weeks and surprisingly I'm doing well too. Feeling pretty well rested and she is such a happy baby!! Doesn't get too upset about much unless we get over tired.  At her 2 week Dr appt she weighed in at 9 lbs 3 ounces already. The Dr says I should write a book on breast feeding, go on Oprah and make millions. He can't believe she has exceeded he birth weight by so much in such little time. This is somewhat funny to me because breast feeding was my biggest concern, turns out it should have been my least! So thankful :) I'm loving the pieces out of my girl!

Brooklyn Crystal

Well she is here!!  Our little angel arrived on her due date.  She was born August 22nd at 5:28 am.  She has been such an amazing baby and we are truly thankful for the blessing God has given us.  We are so grateful for an easy pregnancy, relatively easy delivery and a good baby.  She is an eater as well, so that keeps mom busy.  She was given the middle name of Crystal to honor Josh's grandmother who is no longer with us but we loved dearly.

Brooklyn weighed in at 7 lbs, 15 oz.  Smaller than I was expecting, but I am ok with that.  :) And she is 21.5 inches long.  We are loving every minute!!!

38 Weeks.....Almost There

38 weeks

Well we are almost there.  We can't wait to meet our baby girl. We have attended the child birth/lamaze class, although most of it was filled with laughs!!!  Hopefully that means we will have a fun, easy delivery or so I pray.  Our girl has assumed the correct birthing position, and everything else is on track for growth, etc.  Her nursery is ready and we have stocked the freezer with ready made meals.  The car seats have been installed and bags packed for the hospital.  Hoping in the next couple weeks she will decide she has run out of room inside.  Maybe my next update will be a picture of our girl. :)

I have been slacking on an update.  Things have been going great.  Our girl is growing and I am just about 36 weeks, so not much longer to go.  We are getting more and more excited.  My bag is packed for the hospital and we have been filling the freezer with food. :)

For my baby shower my friend Janelle came from Bend, OR to spend some time with us.  It was so awesome.  We went up to Mt Evan's and our baby girl went to the top of her first 14,265 ft peak.  We had fun relaxing on our new deck as well and going for good pizza at Beaujo's!!  I had a lovely shower as well.  We are so loved and blessed!!
